
Shafik has been called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2010 and to the Bar of Mauritius 2012.
He advises private companies, individuals, global business companies, parastatal bodies, district/municipal Councils and NGOs regularly on different areas of law.
He has appeared in all Courts and Tribunals in Mauritius and is a well experienced litigator. His areas of practice range from criminal law, civil law, company law, commercial litigation, public law, planning laws, employment law, insolvency, insurance and road traffic offences.
Shafik has recently advised and assisted a global business licenced company in its application to obtain its Virtual Assets Service Providers Licence, under the VAITOS Act.

Education
Shafik has read law at Middlesex University in London. He also holds an LLM International Law from the University of Westminster, London.
He has completed his Bar Vocational Course at the University of West of England, Bristol in 2010 and is a member of The Honorable Society of Lincoln’s Inn.

Tabindah is a Barrister-at-Law. She was admitted to the Bar of Mauritius in January 2024. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2022. She joined the Chambers in 2024. She currently maintains a general practice with a focus on civil, criminal, commercial, and family law. She appears regularly before all levels of courts in Mauritius and advises both individual and corporate clients on a wide range of legal matters.

She has experience in family law, dealing with divorce, custody, maintenance, division of assets, and domestic violence matters. Her approach balances legal precision with sensitivity to the personal nature of family law disputes.
She also advises on employment law matters, including termination of employment, workplace disputes, disciplinary procedures, and compliance with local labour regulations. Her practice involves representing both employers and employees in negotiations, mediations, and litigation before the relevant tribunals and courts.
Education
She read law at the University of Mauritius, where she built a strong foundation in Mauritian law. She holds a Graduate Diploma in Law from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan). She then undertook the Bar Practice Course at the University of Law.
